Applied Anthropology refers to the application of the method and theory of anthropology to the analysis and solution of practical problems.
Although applied anthropology is not considered a subdiscipline of anthropology, some anthropologists argue its importance because of the work done to try and help improve a communities way of life be it through global development, health, shelter, or education.
